Planned maintenance

Tomorrow (February 1, 2012) at 10:00 GMT we plan to update the pagekite.net website.

This is an "under the hood" upgrade which shouldn't result in any visible changes, but paves the way for further improvements later on.

If it all goes horribly wrong, this website may become temporarily unavailable and automated kite creation and new user sign-ups may not work for up to an hour. If all goes well, which we consider more likely, the site will be unavailable for a few seconds and most probably, nobody will notice a thing. :-)

We will update this blog post when the work is complete.

Update at 11:05, 2012-01-01: We postponed this by one hour. Work is starting now.

Update at 12:00, 2012-01-01: Kites are flying and all is well.
