Newbie here.

Do you have any plans to allow multiple nodes to connect to a single pagekite? that way nodes can share the load...similar to apache proxypass.

We are assuming all nodes behind pagekite are exactly the same. No need for any routing intelligence in the pagekite.

Not at the moment, what you are asking for is a load balancer, of which many already exist. If you want you could simply put a standard load balancer (e.g. pound for SSL or varnish for http) behind PageKite. Should work fine.
